Killing Time

Well, since I didn't post the past 2 days, I thought I'd do that now while I have some time to waste. D and I are going to something tonight, and we are currently waiting for our clothes to dry so we can change. In fact, we had to go buy pantyhose for me and dress pants and a tie for D for tonight, which, for those of you playing at home, means that we spent way more on D for tonight than we did me. And I finally have a reason to wear my new dress shoes (I am thinking about looking for some summer dress shoes too, but we'll see), but the new shoes have me hoping that we'll be seated for quite a bit of the night (I dislike heels, and these have rather high heels).

Monday, we went to Arkansas to look at a property. The house wasn't bad, but the realtor did not impress D at all (the realtor didn't want to let me say anything, which is stupid since I am part of the decision making team). From what D has said, we won't be taking it. While we were in the area, we stayed with my dad for the night. It was nice to see them again, Christmas was a while ago and we haven't seen them since.

Yesterday, we came home, and then watched 2 of the DVDs we got in the mail from Blockbuster. And that was it. Okay, D got Serenity checked out because a warning light came on as we were driving back. There was a sensor that needed cleaning (I think), and our mechanic fixed her up within a couple of hours. It did through D that I had been home longer than him, since he mentally kept me with him after dropping me off at the house while taking Serenity to get fixed. But I promise that was all we did yesterday.

I'm going to go now. I have some online surfing to do, and little time to do it in.
